I have just finished processing 500 dvd's for ATV and the result is great. The obvious answer, would be to rip to th native VOB files, but I'm not sure if Apple TV (or indeed iTunes) can read these files. I'd like to know what would be the best lossless format to rip them to. I now want to do the same thing with my DVD collection, rip them all to a NAS and then use an Apple TV box to play them on my main TV, whilst also being able to play them on either or my PC's. All my music is played now via iTunes on a Pc or via an iPod, in the meantime, all my CD's sit in my loft, no longer taking up living space. I've ripped all of my CD's to my main hard drive, and then created a shared network space so that my other PC and laptop can access the files. I currently have 2 PC's and a laptop around my home. ![]() I'm new to this forum, and have tried to find a suitible forum to ask this question, and this seems to be the closest forum, so apologies if there is a more suitable forum elsewhere on this site that I've missed.
